NEURO-SOOTHE INFO

The development of Neuro-Soothe was a work in progress over several years. Customers using our Calm Day lotion commented that they experienced relief from stinging, burning, and numbing pain on feet and hands. It was quite the happy accident that our Calm Day lotion was providing relief to sufferers of nerve related pain. Our customers asked for a specific product tailored to relief of these symptoms and our research team experimented with different formulations over the next 2 years.

During this time, my mother was experiencing numbing pain in her feet due to neuropathy, and recently had been transferred to a senior living facility. I found this was an excellent environment to test our initial batches of Neuro-Soothe. Dining in a senior living facility is a community experience, and when a loved one comes to visit, they often get to experience a meal. Incidentally, the facility my mother was recently transferred to, Thrive Senior Care in Mason, Ohio, is an outstanding facility—and the food is awesome!

At any rate, I was able to test my experimental batches on some of the other residents at my mom’s facility, as well as our own patients from our research partner’s acupuncture practice. After several different versions our testers experienced almost immediate results and it was then I knew we had a winner and it was time to bring Neuro-Soothe to market!

Place a small amount (about one half pump of lotion) onto hands and apply to affected areas. Most people report they experience relief for over three hours with each application.

Our steeped oils in Neuro-Soothe include White Willow Bark, Calendula, Ginger Root, He Shou Wu, Neem, and Anantamul which are all anti-inflammatory. Bladderwrack, White Willow Bark, Spilanthes Blossom and Common Sendudok (which is also antinociceptive—a pain blocker) are all analgesic or pain relieving.

Our essential oil and terpene blend is a soothing blend of calendula, lavender and frankincense as well as Helichrysum Spledidum, which is a great relief for inflammation. Linalool and Pulegone, which are terpenes renowned for their calming properties contribute to a pleasant-smelling, powerful relief for numbness and stinging. It is a very light scent and definitely is not overpowering. All of our terpenes and essential oils have a purpose in nerve pain relief—they happen to smell very pleasing as well!
